On the morning of June 26, 2024, Prof. Svetlana Kozhirova, Director of the Center for Chinese and Central Asian Studies of the International Academic Complex in Astana, Kazakhstan, and Prof. Taissiya Marmontova of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the International University of Astana, and their delegation visited our institute, and Prof. Dai Yonghong, Dean of the Institute of Regional Countries and International Communication, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages, and appointed professor, met with the delegation and presented the appointment of visiting professor to them. Prof. Dai Yonghong, Dean of the Institute of International Communication, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages and Distinguished Professor, met with the delegation and presented the certificate of appointment of visiting professor to Svetlana Kozhirova.

Subsequently, the two sides had an in-depth communication on the topics of further deepening humanistic exchanges between China and Kazakhstan and promoting the construction of the “Belt and Road” international science and education platform during the academic talks.
