Zeng Yan, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee and Minister of Propaganda, Zhong Weiyun, Counselor and Researcher of the Contemporary World Research Center of the CPC International Liaison Department and the Secretariat of the Belt and Road Think Tank Cooperation Alliance, U Wu Maoming, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, former Minister of Immigration, Labor, and Population, and former Minister of Industry of Myanmar, Li Xiangyang, Director and Researcher of the Asia-Pacific and Global Strategy Research Institute of CASS, and Fahmida Khatun, Executive Director of the Bangladesh Centre for Policy Dialogue, attended the opening ceremony of the forum and delivered speeches. More than 200 dignitaries, experts, and scholars from China, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and other 16 countries participated in the forum.

This forum featured five main topics: Collaborating on the "Global Security Initiative," "Global Development Initiative," and "Global Civilization Initiative," Jointly Promoting the Construction of a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind, High-Quality Joint Construction of the Belt and Road Initiative between China and South Asia and Southeast Asia, China and South Asia and Southeast Asia Countries Moving Together on the Path to Modernization, Deepening Civilizational Exchanges and Mutual Learning between China and South Asia and Southeast Asia Countries, and Building an Interconnected Partnership between China and South Asia and Southeast Asia Countries.

Professor Dai Yonghong was invited to participate in the discussion on the topic of "Collaborating on the 'Global Security Initiative,' 'Global Development Initiative,' and 'Global Civilization Initiative,' Jointly Promoting the Construction of a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind." He delivered a keynote speech titled "The Ideological Origins and Scientific Connotation of Constructing a Community with a Shared Future for China and India." From the perspective of world civilization history, the concept of a "community with a shared future" has gained widespread respect and recognition in the international community essentially because the idea of "discussion and collaboration for common interests" has always been deeply rooted in the civilizations of various countries, particularly evident among the BRICS countries of China, India, Russia, South Africa, and Brazil. Whether it is China's pursuit of "universal governance" or India's belief in "Brahman and Atman are one," these concepts collectively weave a harmonious symphony of mutual learning and integration among human civilizations. India's philosophy of "Brahman and Atman are one" resonates with the concept of a "community with a shared future," reflecting the best aspects of mutual learning and integration among civilizations. This also historically and ideologically demonstrates that a "community with a shared future" represents a universal value for all humanity.
