Academic Background

Current research and teaching areas are mainly regional country studies (international politics and international strategy), world economy (international trade and energy cooperation) and international communication (strategic and political communication).

He has published 8 academic monographs, 10 co-edited academic books and more than 100 academic papers. He has presided over one major project of the National Social Science Foundation of China (“Study on the Impact of the Security Pattern of the Countries Along the Bay of Bengal on the Implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative”), and two general projects of the National Social Science Foundation of China (“Institutionalization of China-India Relations and Our Response”, “Study on Energy Corridor of China-Myanmar-China-Pakistan under the Perspective of Constructing Strategic Pivot Points of China's Two Oceanic Outbound Channels”).
